BARCELONA AND JOAO FELIX TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Barcelona are progressing in talks to sign Joao Felix on loan. The current La Liga champions are in no financial position to sign him permanently. However, with the sale of Ousmane Dembele, they are ready to sign him on loan. A loan fee of 7 million is also in discussion. Atheltico Madrid are also open to the idea of letting him leave on loan this summer transfer window.

It looks like Barcelona could close the deal very quickly. However, their priority also remains to sign Joao Cancelo on loan from Manchester City. However, Manchester City are demanding to have a buy obligation clause in the loan deal. Although, the La Liga giants only want a optional buy clause in deal. However, there is optimism that Cancelo will sign for the La Liga giants.

ATHLETICO MADRID HAVE NO INTEREST IN KEEPING PORTUGUESE FORWARD AT THE CLUB

In his interview, Joao Felix also said he would love to Barcelona one day. Whereas, his relationship with his current teammates and Diego Simeone has entirely collapsed. He has only one friend at Atletico Madrid in the form of Samuel Lino. He also does not show any interest in training after returning from his loan spell with Chelsea.

Hence, Atletico Madrid are very open to the idea of Joao Felix joining Barcelona. They want him off the wage books for this summer window. However, they will only sell him for offers above 127 million. Joao Felix also only wants to join Xavi’s side. He is also ready to take a big cut. There are no problems from his side on personal terms. He has also rejected Aston Villa and Saudi club Al-Hilal this summer.

Barcelona continue to remain a team in financial difficulty again this summer. However, because of brilliant past history and current team under Xavi, players are willing to join them for less money. Ilkay Gundogan and Oriol Romeu have already taken huge pay cuts to join the La Liga giants.
