MANCHESTER CITY PLAYMAKER AGREES TO EXTEND HIS CONTRACT
According to reports, Manchester City player Bernardo Silva has verbally agreed to extend his contract. The reports also claim that the new contract will be valid until 2026. Hence, this also potentially ends the interest of top European clubs and Saudi clubs. The reports also claims that manager Pep Guardiola has played an important role in getting the extension done.
Manchester City received interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain in the last summer transfer window. However, the Premier League giants refused to sell him for any price. Therefore, they kept Silva this season to win the treble. The playmaker is also now happy with the game time with the Premier League giants. Bernardo Silva will now hope to inspire the team with his performances in the absence of injured Kevin De Bruyne.
