West Ham are reportedly hoping to complete three new signings before their opening match. They are also hoping to keep Lucas Paqueta amid the interest of Manchester City.

The Hammers are also targeting a new striker signing this summer transfer window. Hence, David Moyes is looking to make multiple signings before the end of the transfer window.

WEST HAM HOPING TO COMPLETE THREE NEW SIGNINGS

According to reports, West Ham are hoping to complete the signings of Harry Maguire, Edson Alvarez and James Ward Prowse. A report also claims that Edson Alvarez is now having his medical to complete his move after full agreement with Ajax. Whereas, the Hammers also have a full agreement with Southampton to sign James Ward Prowse.

West Ham have agreed a fee of 30 million for the Southampton captain. Southampton initially rejected the offer. However, the Hammers secured the deal for the same fee after favourable payment structure of the fee. The Hammers also have a verbal agreement with Manchester United Harry Maguire. However, they are negotiating the payment structure with United and also personal terms with the defender. Although, the Hammers are positively optimistic to complete all the three deals.

THE HAMMERS ARE FINALLY USING THE DECLAN RICE MONEY

West Ham fans were waiting for their club to make signings this summer after the sale of Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca. Hence, it looks like the Hammers are finally using the funds from the Declan Rice sale. The signings of Alvarez, Maguire and James Ward Prowse will massively improve the team. Ward-Prowse and Maguire also have the experience of playing in the Premier League.

Whereas, Edson Alvarez has played European football with Ajax. West Ham are also targeting new signings in the striker and left-back position. However, the striker signings remains the top priority. They are also monitoring the situation of Scott McTominay. However, Manchester United are demanding at least 50 million for his signature.

West Ham are aware that they are playing in the Europa League this season. Hence, the schedule is also tight this season for the players and the manager David Moyes. Therefore, David Moyes will need a big enough squad for squad depth and squad competition.
