Chelsea attack star to miss the pre-season tour

Chelsea Stadium

Nicolas Jackson is expected to be part of Chelsea’s squad for their pre-season tour of America. But his ankle injury is being assessed on a daily basis according to reports he is likely to miss the tour.

Maresca has pretty much had a full squad at his disposal from day one of pre-season training. This is a big plus for the Italian. Injured stars Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku and Wesley Fofana have all been in training in a welcome sight for supporters, whilst it appears the new signings are settling in well.

The Senegal international limped out of a World cup qualifier last month with an ankle injury. This time was described as a “severe sprain,” and he had it assessed in London earlier this summer.

Jackson has been enjoying his first season with the Blues, scoring 16 goals in all competitions including 13 in the Premier League. The striker moved to Stamford Bridge last summer in a £30 million deal from Villarreal.

In the Premier League last season, the 23-year-old started 31 top-flight games. He scored an excellent 14 goals and also provided five assists.

Enzo Maresca, the new boss, is keen on signing a new center-forward for Stamford Bridge, despite the current player’s impressive goalscoring record.

What lies ahead for Chelsea with new recruitments?

Chelsea are heavily linked with new players in this summer’s transfer window. As they want to get the best of talents to fill-up the shortcomings and disappointments the Blues are facing since the past years in their domestic and European leagues.

Enzo Maresca, with his sparkling form, helped Leicester City promote to the Premier League. After winning the Championship League, and now Stamford Bridge is welcoming him as their boss and new faces soon.

With Chelsea looking to raise funds for a new striker this summer. They may look to part ways with numerous first-team members to afford a move for a new big-money addition.

Lukaku, who has failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge after the club paid £97.5m to bring him back to west London just a handful of years ago, could potentially be set to leave the club.

The Blues are set to continue their strategy of buying promising youngsters who can develop into potential world-class stars. Despite their obvious need for players capable of slotting straight into the first team as well.

And one Brazilian has caught the eye at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea. They are hoping he’ll be able to answer all of their problems in the future.

Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga’s stint at Chelsea may very well come to an end soon. Kepa had spent the last season at Real Madrid having joined the Spanish side on a loan move. Kepa has offer from Saudi Arabia too but he is not willing to move there.

Therefore, as the Blues are getting ready for rampage movement and start for their 24/25 season. With the Italian as their boss, the fans are pretty sure that they are being able to succeed this season with this squad.
