Arsenal reportedly now have a full agreement to complete the signing of David Raya from Brentford. They have also agreed a fee of 30 million.
Hence, the Spanish goalkeeper will now travel to complete his medical with the Gunners. This also means that Matt Turner will now join Nottingham Forest.
ARSENAL AND DAVID RAYA TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
According to reports, Arsenal now have a full agreement with Brentford to sign David Raya. David Raya will now compete with Aaron Ramsdale for the starting goalkeeper spot. Bayern Munich also had interest in the Spanish goalkeeper. Hence, they also made a bid for the Brentford goalkeeper. However, they made a bid to loan him and an option to buy him next season.
Although, the player and Brentford both rejected the proposal. Therefore, Arsenal immediately entered the race for David Raya. Hence, the player preferred to move to the Gunners. Therefore, it looks like the Spanish goalkeeper is now getting his preferred move. Brentford will also receive a fee of 30 million. This means that they have made a big profit on the 2.7 million spent on Raya to sign him in 2019.
THE GUNNERS WILL NOW ALLOW MATT TURNER TO LEAVE THE CLUB
David Raya’s signing now also means that Arsenal can sell Matt Turner to Nottingham Forest. The USA goalkeeper will join Forest for a 10 million fee. Hence, this means that the Gunners completed their goalkeeper signing for 20 million. They have also made a profit on the Matt Turner sale. The Gunners only spent 5 million on his signature. Hence, the Gunners have made a profit of 5 million.
Arsenal will also make a good profit on the sale of Folarin Balogun. The Gunners want a fee of 40-50 million to sell him. Inter Milan and Monaco have serious interest. Monaco also made the first bid.
