Should Arsenal worry over losing Nico Williams to Barcelona?
Barcelona may have made statements and made inquiries about Nico Williams. But they are far from signing him. Laporta’s statements have caused displeasure to several players in the club. Their pending contract issues and Barca’s elongated financial crisis makes it tricky for them to sign any player.
Meanwhile, there are several underlying issues at Arsenal other than Barcelona. Firstly Nico’s hefty sum of €58m which needs to be paid upfront is a big issue.
