Chelsea have reportedly activated the release clause of Michael Olise. The winger has also agreed personal terms with the Premier League giants.

Hence, Crystal Palace will likely receive the 35 million release clause in his contract. The Blues are working hard to complete this deal with Romeo Lavia.

According to reports , Chelsea have activated the release clause of Michael Olise. The reports also claims that the release clause is worth 35 million. Olise has also agreed personal terms with the Blues. Therefore, the Blues are in advanced talks over the payment terms. However, it looks like the Blues will seal the deal in the next few days.

Chelsea were not in very advanced talks to sign the Crystal Palace star. However, the long-term injury to Christopher Nkunku meant that the Blues had to activate his release clause. Christopher Nkunku is not available for the next four months because of his injury. Therefore, this is the reason that the Blues have pulled out of the Tyler Adams deal.

THE BLUES ALSO WANT TO COMPLETE THE ROMEO LAVIA DEAL IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS

According tor reports, Chelsea are also hoping to complete the Romeo Lavia deal in the next few days. The Blues agreed a deal in the region of 60 million. Liverpool also decided to match the offer. However, Lavia made it clear that he wants to move to Chelsea after discussions with them. Therefore, Liverpool have lost on the signatures of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

This is also the reason Chelsea pulled out of the Tyler Adams deal. This is also because the Blues wanted the signings of Michael Olise, and Romeo Lavia as priority. The Blues have also completed the signing of Moises Caicedo after long negotiations for 115 million. Hence, it looks like the Blues have spent upwards of 200 million for the three new signings

Chelsea owners have also managed to sell some of their fringe players. They are also hopeful of selling players like Conor Gallagher, Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech. The Blues want to make sure they balance their financial books to avoid the punishment from Financial Fair Play regulators.
