Paqueta to Arsenal this summer?

Lyon President, Jean-Michel Aulas expressed his stance on the player’s situation regarding a potential move this summer. He said-

“There are proposals for him,”

“There are certain players who can feel complete in the project, and others who don’t. Economically, we have the means to pursue our ideas and objectives.”

“The coach gave us his opinion and there is also what the players wants to do.”

Meanwhile, Lyon manager Peter Bosz too spoke about the potential exit saying-

“I want to keep all the good players, but you also have to be realistic.

“Lucas is a very important player, but it depends on what the player wants. I already had a conversation with him, but that will be between us.”

Journalist Freddie Paxton took to Twitter to drop an update on the situation regarding Paqueta. He said-

“Lucas Paqueta update

I spoke this afternoon with his agent, Eduardo Uram. As of now, Arsenal have not made any official offers to sign Paqueta.

The player and his camp are waiting patiently to see what happens in coming weeks. Door open for him to leave Lyon.”

The Lyon midfielder is open to the prospect of accepting a new challenge ahead of the next season. However, Arsenal will need to up their bid and push for the player if they want to beat the Magpies in the transfer.
