Arsenal defender Takheiro Tomiyasu’s injury is looking serious claims journalist

Arsenal

Arsenal defender Takheiro Tomiyasu’s injury is looking serious claims journalist Charles Watts. Hence, it looks like it is a season ending injury for the right-back.

However, the last minor tests results have not yet arrived. Hence, there is a slight glimmer of hope for the Gunners and the player.

ARSENAL COULD MISS TAKHEIRO TOMIYASU FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

According to journalist Charles Watts, Arsenal defender Takheiro Tomiyasu could miss the rest of the season. He has also claimed that the Gunners will soon make an official announcement. However, he claims that the initial signs are not looking for their right-back. The injury could also be the end of the season for the Japanese right-back.

Journalist Charles Watts speaking on the Arsenal right-back further said, “I’m afraid Tomiyasu, again, it’s not looking good. We know that. “There’s not been a kind of official announcement yet. They’re still going through the final sort of checks. But it looks bad. “All the comments coming from Arsenal are suggesting it’s bad, but they’re waiting to get the final results for all the tests that he’s gone through.”

THE GUNNERS WILL NOW HOPE TO HAVE BEN WHITE FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

Arsenal will now hope that Ben White is fit for the rest of the season. This is because he is only the right-back fit. They have already loaned out Cedric to Fulham for the rest of the season. A number of other defenders can also play right-back. However, it is sure that nobody can do it till the end of the season. Hence, Mikel Arteta will have to manage his Ben White’s fitness.

Arsenal decided to play Thomas Partey as a right-back in the final minutes in the win against Palace. Hence, it looks Arteta clearly is aware of the Tomiyasu situation. He further said after the Sporting game, “We’ve had one assessment, they need to have another assessment tomorrow, but it’s not looking good, that’s for sure. “Looking at Tomi, he’s not someone who exaggerates things. He was really concerned straight away, and we are concerned.”

Hence, it is clear that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have keeping on shifting players to keep Ben White fit for the rest of the season. It is too big a risk for the Gunners to make him play 90 minutes in every game of the season.
