Charles Watts gives spectacular Serge Gnabry claim

About Football Express UK

Arsenal in recent weeks have been linked to Serge Gnabry.

CBS reporter, Ben Jacobs reports that the London club are looking out on the prospects of signing the German attacker.

However, it is now known that the Gunners are not the only team that have kept interested in the 26-year-old. Over the last few days, Chelsea have allegedly entered the race to sign the Bayern attacker.

Moreover, Fabrizio Romano has also said that Chelsea ‘have started to explore’ the prospect of signing Gnabry. On the other hand, Bayern Munich are also pushing for renewing Gnabry’s deal with the German champions. Gnabry has one year left on his contract.

However, there are also other reports coming up regarding this situation.

SportBild-via Daily Mail reports that Gnabry would not sign with any other rival London team of Arsenal if at all the signs for the Gunners.

What did Charles Watts have to say about the Serge Gnabry situation?

Charles Watts, on his official Youtube channel, elaborated about the Gnabry-Chelsea rumors.

The reporter who is an Arsenal correspondent said,

”I saw a report certainly coming out from a pretty established Chelsea reporter over with the club in the States.”

“So it feels like it’s gone round there, that they are maybe looking at Serge Gnabry if Raphinha indeed doesn’t happen.”

“That sends a shiver down all Arsenal fans’ spine.”

“There have been, sort of counter-reports from Germany after those, saying that Gnabry wouldn’t consider Chelsea because of his Arsenal connection.”

“If that is the case, I think we can all breathe a huge sign of relief, because don’t think any of us would want to see Serge Gnabry playing for Chelsea.”

“But it remains to be seen where they go now in terms of bringing a wide attacker, with Raphinha heading to Barcelona.”
