Eddie Howe's concern

Newcastle United signed Alexander Isak in the transfer window this summer from Real Sociedad as the latter immediately found a replacement in Umar Sadiq.

Isak replacement out injured

Isak had been under subject of much speculation regarding a move away from the Spanish club due to his brilliant performances. Moreover, Isak was keen to make a move this summer and join a high-profile league for the new season.

Joining the English top flight seemed like an obvious choice and a challenge the striker wished to take up. However, his replacement at Real Sociedad, Umar Sadiq was touted to be the next big thing for the club.

Sadiq looked like a promising replacement after netting the ball 40 times in 72 outings in the past two years. However, Sociedad will definitely miss his services as the forward is now on side-lines for the rest of the season.
