Report: Manchester United boss confirms Casemiro availability in Southampton clash

Manchester United are set to lock horns with Southampton in their fourth fixture in their Premier League campaign this season.

Manager Erik ten Hag has handed a major boost on the club’s latest signing’s availability ahead of the Southampton clash. United signed Casemiro from Real Madrid just prior to the clash against Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

United travel to Saint Mary’s Stadium to play a tricky fixture away from home and ten Hag has provided a major update.

Manchester United boss confirms Casemiro participation

Fans have been delighted over the signing of the former Real Madrid defensive midfielder since the official announcement by United. Moreover, the midfielder has participated in all the training sessions since his arrival with the rest of the squad.

Moreover, ahead of the clash at the Saint Mary’s Stadium, fans are keen to see Casemiro don the United jersey. Manager ten Hag cleared the air on the player’s availability against Southampton for the weekend fixture.

He said-

“Casemiro is fit. He did all of the training sessions. He trained first individually and, the last days, he trained with the team,”

There is a high possibility that the player will make an appearance on the pitch as a United player. Casemiro may not start for United but could join later on during the match at some point.

Whereas, delighted about his move to United, Casemiro said this-

“The Premier League is a dream to play in. It’s a wonderful league.
