However, the midfielder ended up extending his contract for another season with Juventus. Hence, this means that Manchester United are exploring a move for the Moroccan midfielder. Fiorentina are also set to ask mega money for his sale. The Serie A side is in no mood to sell the midfielder for less money. Hence, they will ask a fee in the region of 35-40 million. ]

NEWCASTLE UNITED AND FC BARCELONA DO NOT HAVE ANY INTEREST IN THE MIDFIELDER

According to reports, Newcastle United and FC Barcelona also were in the race. However, the good news for Manchester United is they are now not in the race. This is because FC Barcelona now want a different profile of a player. Whereas, Newcastle United signed Sandro Tonali from fellow Serie A side AC Milan. Liverpool were also linked with a move.

However, the Reds are focusing a move on Romeo Lavia. Therefore, Manchester United currently are leading the race for his signature. Sofyan Amrabat is also ready to push for a move to the Premier League giants. He also tried to force a move to FC Barcelona. However, Fiorentina refused to allow him to leave the club on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Manchester United are currently completing the deal for Mason Mount. However, after that, there is a chance that the Red Devils will pursue a move for the Moroccan defensive midfielder. A marquee striker signing also remains high on the list for the Red Devils.
