Ian Wright’s prediction on the match between Liverpool and Manchester City is here. It seems that the former Arsenal man is a little bit inclined towards the Reds. In the modern day football, Manchester City against Liverpool is on of the most thrilling matches in the world. Both the clubs are going to be meeting on Saturday for the first time this season. There are changes made in the transfer window as well. Moreover, this new generation version of both the clubs is going to make the match more interesting.

Liverpool brought in Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister during the summer transfer window. Whereas on the other hand, the treble winners Manchester City got World Cup star Josko Gvardiol and former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic. Moreover, the presence of world class players like Mohammed Salah and Erling Haaland makes sure that the match can be overturned at any given moment.

As per tbrfootball, former Arsenal forward Ian Wright is supporting Liverpool on Saturday.

” I think Liverpool are going to get the better of Manchester City on Saturday. The Reds should’ve conceded more goals but their keeper makes sure that the ball doesn’t go past him. Players like Mac Allister, Szoboszlai nd Salah are in great form and i think that’s the reason that Liverpool are going to get all 3 points at the Etihad.” -Ian Wright said.

Ian Wright’s prediction and it’s effect if it goes true.

Liverpool are currently sitting at the 2nd place behind Manchester City in the premier league. The blues have 28 points in 12 games and they are leading the table as they’ve been doing since last few seasons. On the other side, Liverpool have 27 points in 12 games and a win on Saturday would straightaway put them in the top spot. Moreover, the Reds will get a confidence boost for their upcoming matches in the Europa league as well as premier league.

On the other hand , Manchester City would need to win all of their next matches because once Liverpool get the top spot, they’ll gain momentum and then it’d be difficult to catch up with them. However, we’ve seen Manchester City win the league coming from behind. The blues would be aiming for a win in order to strengthen their leading position and get a confidence boost before upcoming matches as well.
