Manchester City relegation rumors surfaced again after the club’s former adviser speaks on the matter.

Manchester City

Recently, Everton have been given a 10 point deduction by the Premier league. They were found guilty of breaching the sustainability and profit rules of the league. Moreover, this deduction has pushed them to the 19th position. They are most probably going to be relegated if they don’t perform better. However, the second half of the season is yet to arrive and the club can bounce back. In the meanwhile, during Everton’s punishment, allegations were also made on another club. They are the treble winners Manchester City. The blues have 115 charges issued against them. Most of these charges are under the ‘risk and uncertainties’ section. Manchester City relegation rumors came out in early February after the league issued the charges against the premier league champions.

As per liverpoolworld, Manchester City denied any wrongdoing back in February. But Everton’s point deduction has brought the blues back to the spotlight. Moreover, Chelsea are also the new arrivals in the case. Investigation is going on the 2021 champions league winners for ‘secret payments’ under former owner Roman Abramovich.

Investigation is going on Manchester City on several charges. Some of these charges include breachment of reporting of accurate financial information, submission of payment details of player and manager with adherence to the contract, etc.

Manchester City relegation:could it be a possibility?

Stefan Borson, Man City’s former adviser, has spoken on the matter. He said that the club is going to bear severe consequences if proven guilty. Moreover, they could be on the verge of relegation. This can potentially strip them of some of their titles too. However, the investigation is still going on. Manchester City beleive that they’re clean. They believe that they’ll get justice .

In the meanwhile, the charges against City are only increasing. As per the reports, the blues are also not co operating with the investigation team. This is another breachment of rules of the league. However, the final verdict is yet to arrive. We hope that Man City get the best out of this matter so that we can enjoy the thrill that they bring to the league.
