Blackpool Rovers Football Club is a professional football club based in Blackpool, Lancashire, England.

History

Blackpool was founded in 1887.  The club played their home matches at Ewood Park until 1890. However, they moved to Pleasington Cricket Ground in 1896. They then moved to Leamington Road in 1898 when they moved to their current home, Ewood Park.

The club enjoyed success in the early years of its existence, winning the Lancashire Senior Cup in 1899. Meanwhile, they also won the Lancashire Combination in 1901. However, their most successful period came in the 1990s and early 2000s, when they won the Premier League title in 1995 and the FA Cup in 2002.

Blackpool Rovers have won a number of major trophies in their history. Their most notable success came in 1995 when they won the Premier League title under the management of Kenny Dalglish.
