Recent reports show that Conor Gallagher doesn’t seem to have his future at Stamford bridge. Chelsea may part ways with 24 year old midfielder according to The Chelsea Chronicle. The fans however think otherwise and are backing Gallagher. They brought a special banner to display before the game against Spurs. The banner had Gallagher’s photo with a quote saying Chelsea since birth. Chelsea supporters seem to stand firmly with the Chelsea academy graduate and are not happy with the Club’s decesion to sell him.
Gallagher was extremely thankful to the fans for the amazing gesture. He went on to applaud the fans. The 24 year old midfielder then had an amazing performance in the game. He also had a assist which helped Chelsea in breaking the deadlock. He surely paid the fans back with this high quality performance.
The injury to Enzo Fernández ended his season early. This caused Pochettino to pair Moises Caicedo with Conor Gallagher as defensive midfielders.
