Chelsea youngster Noni Madueke getting appreciation he deserves

Chelsea played Tottenham Hotspurs on thursday night where they managed to bag all three points. The Blues scored two goals against their london rivals and also kept a clean sheet. Despite having an inconsistent season and failing to win trophy, Chelsea have a league double over Spurs. Due to this win The Blues are now setting their eyes on European spot. Everyone had a good game for Chelsea along with 22 year old winger Noni Madueke. Madueke’s performance has been praised by many and appreciated by all of the fans.

Chelsea to give Madueke more playing time

Although Madueke is not a regular starter for Chelsea, he has had this opportunity due to injuries. The young winger played five consecutive matches as starter in Premier League. 22 year old winger has made 19 Premier League appearances this season. In those, he has scored 4 times and assisted 1 time.

Madueke’s performance against Spurs has been appreciated by Newcastle’s forward. After the match, Madueke posted a picture on his Instagram which received a comment from his youth teammate in National side. Anthony Gordon commented ‘proper performance’ on Madueke’s post. Madueke and Gordon are good friends and have played together many times for England’s youth teams. In the match against Spurs, Madueke managed to dribble pass defenders 5 times. He provided 2 key passes along with helping in defense and tackling 2 times.

Noni Madueke is a left footed winger who plays on right side of the pitch. He is just 22 years old which promises his bright future. Currently his market value is £25 million according to transfermarkt. Before arriving at Chelsea, he had a very good spell for the Dutch side PSV. This made the blues to go for english youngster in january 2023. The injuries Chelsea had in this season gave Madueke chance to show his worth and fans think he deserves more playing time.
