United looking to replace Marcus Rashford
Rashford has not had a good season and has failed to deliver. He has not been able to stay consistent and has not even reached double figures this season. Rashford has only scored 7 goals in his 31 United appearances. This has been a problem for Red Devils as the main man is failing to deliver. United are currently on 6th position in Premier League and their hopes to play Champions League have surely ended. Although Rashford has been a key player for United many years, the club is considering to replace him. Currently three names have came into consideration.
21 year old youngster to replace Rashford at United
Nico Williams is the first option available for United. The young winger is currently having a great season at Athletic Club. He has played very good in La Liga and also helped Athletic to win Copa Del Rey. Athletic defeated spanish giants Athletico Madrid and Barcelona before going on to win the Copa Del Rey trophy. Williams playes as right winger for Athletic but as he is right footed it would be easy for him to shift on the left side. He is also good with both feets which makes him trouble maker for opposition. Athletic have set his price at £43 million which is justifying with his young age and the season he is having. United can go after him and welcome him to Old Trafford.
Another Young Portugese winger
Man United also have their eyes on portugese winger. Leao has not had very good season with AC Milan, but has already showed his class last season. The 24 year old winger could be the new United winger and would cost United £85 million according to Goal.com. Leao is one of the most important players for AC Milan due to his qualities of scoring, assisting and dribbling past defenders. Milan would like to keep him in their squad. But with the financial strength United possess, Milan would have to let the Portugese international go for the right amount of money.
Brazilian superstar
Vinicius Junior is undoubtedly the best left winger in the world right now. Manchester United seem to be interested in signing the superb brazilian talent. Vini is extremely good in scoring goals and providing assists. He has the typical brazilian DNA when it comes to dribbling. These are the factors that make him nightmare for the opposition. However signing him is not going to be easy. Real Madrid have no plans to sell him. Vini is the most important forward of Madrid’s squad and is Ancelotti’s favourite. These makes it very hard for any club in the world to come close to Vini.
