Former Spurs player Jamie O’hara has given admired the performance from Chelsea star and talked about him.

Jamie O’Hara thinks Chelsea left back was amazing

Mauricio Pochettino played Marc Cucurella as a left back against his former club. Cucurella who has received a lot of criticism due to him form had a good night this time. Spurs were having problem from his side and were unable to stop him. The Spanish international costed Chelsea £60 million. Many believe he was not worth the money Blues spent on him. Chelsea supporters are also disappointed with him.

His performance on thursday night in Premier League however was praised by former Spurs player Jamie O’Hara along with Jason Cundy. Jason Cundy played for both Chelsea and Tottenham back in time. O’Hara and Cundy compared Cucurella’s performance with three football legends according to The Chelsea Chronicle.

O’Hara said Spurs had a very poor performance and this made Cucurella seem like Roberto Carlos. He added how Cucurella had a bad season before this game and how good he was tonight. Surely the Spurs fan has been annoyed by the way his club has played. O’Hara then went on and said that watching the spanish left back play was like watching Guti play. Jason Cundy on the other hand thinks Cucurella was playing like Zidane that night. Cucurella was mostly in the midfield position due to running higher and carrying the ball forward. This made Cundy remeber the great french legend Zidane.

Marc Cucurella however needs to concentrate on being consistent. His market value has been hugely dropped. The £60 million full back signed by Chelsea is reported to have market value of £15 million.
