Chelsea have set their eyes on youngster along with signing of Ivan Toney
Many clubs are interested to sign Ivan Toney along with Chelsea. Along the blues, Arsenal and Manchester United have also shown interest in English striker. Chelsea seem to be keen to bring Toney at stamford bridge next season. Along with Toney, the blues are also considering signing of 21 year old Belgian youngster. Johan Bakayoko is the name of the new talent and Chelsea seem to have joined the race to bring him in Premier League. Bakayoko is currently at PSV and was looked upon as potential replacement to Ivan Toney by Brentford. Brentford even tried to sign him last season but Bakayoko opted to stay at PSV. His decesion has proved right as the Belgian youngster has managed to score 13 times and assisted 14 times this season. He is also headed for Dutch title with PSV.
Johan Bakayoko was in PSV’s youth team few seasons ago and now has rose to become an integral part of the first team. Chelsea are looking to sign him and add to their attacking side. 21 year old attacker has very good qualities and skills which have caught every big club’s eyes. Along with scoring he is good in dribbling, providing crosses and also is decent in passing. He plays as a winger but also can adapt to striking position. His physicality also helps him in winning duels. Bakayoko can also shoot long shots and is good in set pieces too. Overall the Belgian youngster can be described as complete attacking package.
Ivan Toney set to leave Brentford after 4 successful years
Brentford has confirmed Ivan Toney is set to leave the club at the end of the season. Ivan Toney had a 4 year spell with the bees in which he managed to score 72 goals in 138 appearances. Brentford have demanded £40 million for Toney, and Chelsea are seeming to sign him. Brentford were planning to replace Toney with Bakayoko. Chelsea signing Bakayoko will hamper Brentford’s plans.
Mauricio Pochettino has asked Chelsea board to sign Toney at all costs. He desperately wants Toney at Stamford bridge next season. He believes Ivan Toney will take Chelsea to the next level according to a stamford bridge too far. Not only Chelsea but also Arsenal and Manchester United have shown interest in Toney and it will all come down to Toney’s decesion.
