Chelsea setting their eyes on Michael Olise

Chelsea

Chelsea have been linked to some big names recently. Along with selling their current players the blues will be making big moves in the summer market. Recent rumours have linked Chelsea with 22 year old Michael Olise.

Olise currently plays for Crystal Palace. Along with attacking midfielder he can adapt and play as a winger. Despite being born in England, Olise plays for France under 21 national team as his mother is from France. Olise played 18 Premier League matches this season and has been absolutely magnificent in those. He has scored 10 goals along with providing 5 assists. Along with Chelsea, Manchester United also seem very interested in youngster.

How Chelsea are planning to sign Olise

According to TEAMtalk, signing Olise can cost Chelsea upto £65 million. Crystal Palace are willing to hear offers from above £50 million along with £15 million add-ons. Todd Boehly seems to be working on this deal to make it happen. He even has an alternative swap plan.

Chelsea could offer Palace their three stars in exchange for French midfielder. Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja and Raheem Sterling can join Palace making way for Olise. It would be key to see what United have to offer. Palace will likely accept the deal which is more advantageous to them. As of now it is unclear about who has the lead in race for Olise.

What makes Chelsea chase Palace youngster

Michael Olise plays on the right flank of the pitch. From the right side he likes to take control of the ball on his left foot which is his prominent. He has ability to create chances and also finish them and has been able to do it consistently. As discussed earlier, his stats this season have been breathtaking. Often it has been said that Olise can be the next Cole Palmer if he comes to Stamford bridge. Except Palmer, Chelsea stars have failed to stay consistent. This could be the another reason The Blues will do anything in their power to bring Michael Olise to Stamford bridge next season.
