Chelsea

Former midfielder Michael Brown has shown faith in Nicolas Jackson

Chelsea are currently having bad season and struggling in the league. They are currently on 9th position in the Premier League. The failure from the players to perform and deliever consistently has been an issue, but some have been very good. The one player who has been great throughout the season is Cole Palmer. Except him none seem to get praise. Nicolas Jackson is having debut season in premier league and has managed to reach double figures. Michael Brown has backed Jackson for scoring 10 goals in 30 appearances and said that is a good stat to have.

According to Brown, Senegalese strike is only missing to be consistent. He believes he has been a threat to opposition in some matches. Although he has scored some amazing goals, he has missed some easy chances. This is the area Jackson should improve and be more consistent in finding the back of the net. Not only Jackson but the whole Chelsea squad has failed to remain consistent except Palmer. This may also affect the player’s morales and be the reson for having pressure and underperforming.

Nicolas Jackson’s future could be bright at Chelsea

Jackson who is still 22 years old can definately improve. Along with time and maturity he can evolve as a proper striker. Gary Neville also backed Jackson before Brown and this shows the amount of talent Senegalese international possess. Mauricio Pochettino also has faith in Jackson and will really hope that Jackson improves his finishing and help his team win crucial matches. For now lack of scoring enough goals from Chelsea squad is forcing the club to go for new striker. According to The Chelsea Chronicle, the blues are looking to make a move for Victor Osimhen. Along with Osimhen, Chelsea have also set their eyes on other options with Ivan Toney being another priority for them.
