Cole Palmer continues to receive praise


Chelsea put an amazing performance against West Ham United this sunday. The Blues absolutely thrashed their London rivals. Stamford bridge witnessed a 5-0 win against Hammers and all they Chelsea fans surely enjoyed this domination from their club. Four players went on to score for the blues. Cole Palmer had yet another worth watching game and received praise from former tottenham forward.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring for Chelsea which was followed by Conor Gallagher’s superb volley. Noni Madueke scored the third goal and gave Chelsea 3-0 lead at half time. After half time Nicolas Jackson managed to score a brace to make it 5-0. This helped Chelsea to climb up the points table and are currently on 7th place in Premier League. The Blues are now very much confident about securing their place in european competition.

Palmer receives praise from Garth Crooke

Former Tottenham Hotspurs forward Garth Crooke has praised Palmer for his performance against West Ham. Along with scoring an opener, Palmer had 58 passes with 91% accuracy and also had 4 key passes according to the data from WhoScored. Garth Crooke took his time to talk about recently turned 22 year old winger.

According to Crooke, Palmer is much more than just scoring goals. Palmer has scored 24 goals and assisted 13 times this season. He can play as a winger and also as an attacking midfielder. This stats are enough to prove Garth Crooke’s point right. Crooke considered Palmer as a gifted footballer. He thinks Palmer is a master of passing and sees the passes before anyone else and provides most clinical passes. He also added that Palmer plays as comfortable as he is on training ground. Garth Crooke also suggested that England national team should make most of Palmer and benefit from the skills he possesses.

Chelsea were reported to offer Palmer a new contract with pay rise. Ever since arriving to Chelsea, the 22 year old winger has had an massive glow up and deserves pay rise more than anyone. With the current form, Palmer also seems to catch the plane to Germany this summer for Euro 2024.
