Borussia Dortmund set to hold talk with Erling Braut Haaland to know about the player’s planning for the future

Borussia Dortmund is reportedly willing to hold talks with Erling Braut Haaland and the player’s agent to understand the youngster’s planning for the future as per the report in German outlet Bild. 

The 21-year-old joined the BVB back in January 2020 from Red Bulls Salzburg for around £17.8 million. The Norwegian took no time to settle down in the new surroundings. And he started to showcase his talent immediately, scoring 76 goals in 76 appearances in all competitions. 

According to the report, Borussia Dortmund is looking to plan their future for the upcoming season and are waiting to know the plan of Erling Braut Haaland before making the final decision. 

The report further claims that the club and the player with his representatives are set to discuss to understand the youngster’s planning for the future. 

Meanwhile, as per the report, the 21-year-old has a €75 million(£64m) release clause in his current contract with the German giants. And that can be triggered from the summer of 2022. The player’s agent has already met with different clubs to engineer a move. 

What should Erling Braut Haaland decide about his future? 

Erling Braut Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund back in January 2020 to develop his career and find the right way through to success. The player has included a release clause in his contract with the hope of joining the other elite team. After proving his worth at Signal Iduna Park. 

Meanwhile, the Norwegian showcased his talent in German football from day one. It seems the player should relocate his future at the end of this season and perform in a tougher league. With plenty of elite European clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich lining up a move for the 21-year-old. It will be interesting to see which club can meet his demands and pay the transfer fee. 

So, this will be the perfect time for Erling Braut Haaland to leave Dortmund. And take a new challenge in his career to develop his career. While the youngster’s arrival will strengthen the forward line of any of the aforementioned clubs. As he has already showcased his goal-scoring prowess in Bundesliga and the Champions League. So, this will be an interesting transfer saga waiting for the football fans in the summer transfer window.
