Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham may very well join Liverpool at some point amid links of a move to Anfield.
Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool over a potential transfer this summer. Though, an exit does not seem viable as the Bundesliga outfit wouldn’t let another star leave this summer.
Dortmund’s main striker last season, Erling Haaland joined Manchester City this transfer window. Clearly, the club would not want Bellingham leaving the same summer as it would hamper their forthcoming season.
However, the possibility of the midfielder joining Liverpool seems very likely but maybe next summer. Bellingham has been a long-time fan of the Merseyside-based club and loves the idea of joining the side someday.
Bellingham to Liverpool in 2023 summer?
The talks regarding a potential transfer to the English top-flight has been up in the air for quite a while. According to Cadena SER, Klopp’s side had made a bid for £87 million to bring the Dortmund midfielder this summer.
However, it is obvious as to why the deal did not go through as Dortmund need their midfield bolstered. Moreover, the 18-year-old has been in terrific form at such a young age flourishing to be a fantastic talent.
Klopp will need to find a suitable replacement for Jordan Henderson who is entering the final lap of his career. A long-term replacement is something the gaffer look to bring in next season and Bellingham’s inclusion would be perfect.
Considering the fact that Bellingham has been a Liverpool fan since his childhood could only make the transfer easier. Klopp would be delighted to secure his services as he is turning out to be one of the hottest prospects.
Surely Liverpool will bid for the player again next year and hope he dons the Reds outfit in the 23/24 season.
