“Strong”- Jose Enrique over possible new signing made by Chelsea

Arsenal Team

Jose Enrique has shared his opinion over the Raphinha transfer as Chelsea are very close to signing the winger from Leeds.

The transfer saga seemed like a four-way battle between clubs and fans have been wondering where Raphinha could be headed this summer. It appears as though, the answer is on the horizon as Chelsea are almost close to snapping up the winger.

Tottenham, Barcelona, and Arsenal were all involved in the race to sign the Leeds player this summer. However, Raphinha and his agent, Deco (Former Chelsea player) have decided the best move would be to join the Blues.

The Elland Road outfit have an agreement with the Blues for over £60 million to make a swoop for Raphinha. The Brazilian winger will soon reach a personal agreement with the London-based club in the coming hours/days.

Deadly signing for Chelsea?

Not just Raphinha but Chelsea are also on the verge of signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester City this summer.

With Raphinha, the attacking front line looks very strong and manager Thomas Tuchel would be confident regarding this side. Moreover, Todd Boehly, the new owner at the Bridge, has been key in signing the winger.

Todd is doing everything possible to build a competitive squad and fix the flaws in the attack endured last season. Jose Enrique has given his thoughts on the signing, terming the club to be strong ahead of the next campaign.

He said-

“Chelsea is going to be strong next season”

The new signings will be made official in a few days and fans cannot keep calm about their attacking frontline. Tuchel will form a duo in Sterling and Raphinha for the next season and hope it solves their goalscoring miseries.

Chelsea are slowly building a team that can help them relive their glory days with the new signings. The club is yet to make singings in the defensive position and fans can expect a few more signings.
