West Ham in talks over £24 million Juventus striker

Everton

West Ham United are in talks with Serie A giants Juventus over a potential move for Moise Kean for £24 million.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, the Premier League outfit is willing to make a move for the Juventus striker this summer. The Turin-based club is ready to sell him on a permanent deal if a good fee arrives.

The Italy international is on a two-year loan deal with the club reaching mid-way to his contract. However, the Serie A side has the option to buy the striker next season for £24 million.

West Ham to seal the deal?

The striker endured a struggling campaign with Everton before his loan spell at Juventus. Moreover, the Toffees are unwilling to negotiate with Juventus and West Ham could make an offer.

The Hammers have identified Kean as a potential target who can work well in their setup. Given that Kean has struggled in his Premier League campaign previously, his quality is still top-notch.

Though he has been an incredible player, he has not impressed PSG and Juventus during his stints at the clubs. Touted to be one of the best youngsters in recent times, the player has not been able to keep up.

This could be the reason why Juventus and Everton want him gone on a permanent deal. West Ham’s willingness to make a swoop for the player can be questioned considering Kean’s failures in the top-flight.

However, David Moyes’ side could give him a chance and see if he can live up to his potential. Certainly, the Hammers could look beyond Kean and Youssef En-Nesyri could be an option from Sevilla.

The Sevilla striker provides an ariel threat with the ability to score in crucial matches and Moyes would fancy him. However, West Ham are plotting a move for Kean and it remains to be seen if the transfer goes through.
