Manchester United linked with Hoffenheim sensation to complete first summer signing

Manchester United have been interested in a number of players and Hoffenheim sensation David Raum is the latest addition.

The 24-year-old left-back is linked to a move to the Old Trafford this summer. Having made no transfer activity yet, manager Erik ten hag could finally have his first signing in Raum.

The defender signed for Hoffenheim in 2021 after helping his former team Greuther Furth achieve promotion to the Bundesliga. Raum relished an impressive season with Hoffenheim providing 13 assists across all competitions with three goals to his name.  

United among a number of clubs have been interested to make a swoop for Raum this summer. However, there has been no offer placed yet for the talented defender by the Red Devils.

Frustrating Transfer Woes for Manchester United

Clubs across Europe have already begun bolstering their squad by making big signings. Whereas, United’s interests in players don’t seem to end yet no transfer has taken place.

Manager Erik ten Hag has added a number of targets to his ‘potentials’ list with Frenkie de Jong, Jurrien Timber, and Christian Eriksen among favorites to join the club this summer.

The club has not managed to pull off even a single transfer in the first half of the transfer window. Moreover, fans of the Red Devils have started to grow frustrated with no transfer activity.

However, Ten Hag seems patient regarding the transfers and big names could join the camp this summer. The gaffer will not want to repeat the mistakes made by other managers in the past including big names but unable to compete for titles.

The second half of the transfer window will be one to watch as no activity has been made by the club yet. That said, It remains to be seen if ten Hag can make his first summer signing in David Raum this summer.
