Liverpool could sell two players after the third summer signing

About Football Express UK

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could let go of two players after they made their third signing this summer.

According to Express, the Reds gaffer could make the exits possible for two right-backs this summer. This comes after the club signed the likes of Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho, and Calvin Ramsay in the transfer window.

After landing 18-year-old Ramsay from Aberdeen, the gaffer has begun plans of making a reshuffle with his squad. With the inclusion of a new defender, Klopp has the liberty to let go of two players on his side.

Neco Williams and Conor Bradley to leave Liverpool?

The Reds boss has Neco Williams and Conor Bradley on his list to clear out from the squad before the new season begins.

Neco was out on loan to Fulham in the second half of the season helping them achieve promotion. Moreover, the newly-promoted side is willing to make a transfer for Williams this summer.

However, Bradley has made five first-team appearances with Liverpool and has a promising career ahead of him. The 18-year-old’s transfer appears to be on the horizon as Klopp is set to bank on Ramsay next season.

Klopp would not back out from the opportunity to make an exit possible for Neco to Fulham. Besides, the inclusion of Ramsay means that he will play as a second fiddle to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Having made a good backup with Ramsay, the game time would be slashed for Bradley and Williams next season. A move away from Anfield could help them gain more experience and be regular elsewhere.

Southampton have made contact with the Reds for Neco Williams to bolster their defence. Klopp’s side hopes to obtain somewhere around £20m for the right-back.

With Southampton and Fulham in the race to sign the defender, Williams’ time at Liverpool may have come to an end.
