Antonio Conte is currently available and clubs will be looking after him this summer. Conte was managing Tottenham Hotspurs and had decent first season with them. However the second season was not so good and the club decided to part ways with the Italian manager. Currently few clubs are linked with Conte and Chelsea are one of them. Marco Piccari talked about Conte and suggested that he should go to Chelsea. The Blues are linked with various managers and are very certain to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season.
Piccari when talking about Conte said that he requires a high salary and high quality players according to Sport Witness. He also added that these conditions won’t be met in Italy, and if he wants to manage Italian clubs he must adapt. Conte who started his managerial carrer in Italy and also played in Italy throughout his professional career, knows the league and environment in Italy. He went on to win 4 Serie A titles, 3 with Juventus and 1 with Inter. That is the reason he is linked with many Italian clubs too as some Seria A clubs are having change in manager at the end of the season. Napoli is being heavily linked with Italian manager.
Chelsea are now linked with Conte too. The Blues are also linked with Ruben Amorim and other several managers. But it won’t be a surprise if the Club decides to go with their former manager.
How Antonio Conte was at Chelsea
Antonio Conte has already managed Chelsea for 2 years before the club decided to sack him. He signed with Chelsea in summer of 2016. Conte’s tactics made a huge difference in Premier League and turned out to be huge success for the Club. He managed to win Premier League title in his first season with Blues. The Italian didn’t had a very good second season and finished 5th in Premier League. This caused the sacking of him by the club. He still managed to win FA cup in his second season with the blues. In short his two years with Chelsea were succesful. Chelsea could bring back the magic with bringing Conte to Stamford Bridge.
