Manchester United hope to keep their good form going against Newcastle United this season

Manchester United will hope to win their next Premier League game against Newcastle United. They will also strengthen their 3rd position.

However, Newcastle United are also pushing for the top 4 position this season. Although, the Carabao Cup final win gives the Red Devils advantage over the Magpies.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS NEWCASTLE UNITED PLAYERS AVAILABILITY

Manchester United will not have Casemiro available for the match against Newcastle United. The Brazilian midfielder is serving his suspension. They will also be without injured Alejandro Garnacho, Donny Van de Beek and Christian Eriksen. Whereas, Antony Martial might make the substitutes. Marcus Rashford is expected to start the match after recovering from his minor injury.

Whereas, for Newcastle United, Emil Krafth continues his recovery from major injury suffered at the start of the season. Ryan Fraser will no have a role in the first team after getting demoted to the Under-21s. Whereas, Eddie Howe expects Sven Botman and Nick Pope to recover from their injuries and play against Manchester United. Hence, both the clubs should have their important players fit for the game.

Newcastle United will hope to start the game all out on attack. However, Manchester United also have the players to counter-attack. Other than Alexander Isak, the Magpies players have struggled to score loads of goals. Hence, they will again back their brilliant defence this match. The Newcastle United defence is one of the best defences in the league. Therefore, the match has 1-1 draw written all over it.
