Liverpool want to sign Ex Everton player in January.

Liverpool

Liverpool want to sign Antonee Robinson from Fulham in the January transfer window. However, this deal is not going to be an easy one for the Reds. Robinson has a contract valid till 2028 with Fulham and signing him before that would be an expensive deal for any team. Furthermore, Liverpool want to sign him in January which is in the middle of the season. Because of this scenario, it will become more challenging to get the American wingback. However, Liverpool are monitoring his situation as of now and would be looking to get him at all costs. The Ex Everton wingback is a must sign for Jurgen Klopp if he wants a perfect shot at the silverware this season.

According to hitc, Liverpool are facing problems in their defensive unit this season. To be more precise, they’re having a hard time getting a good wingback. Their star left back, Andrew Robertson is out of the team after he picked up a shoulder injury. Kostas Tsimikas came to replace him. However, Tsimikas has now also suffered a collarbone injury. Moreover, he will be out for months. That leaves Jurgen Klopp with the only choice to play Joe Gomez in the left back. That would be a serious problem for the club as Gomez is a central defender and playing him at the wingback will only result in bad performances.

Liverpool want to sign Ex Everton player Antonee Robinson due to his impressive performance with Fulham.

When Robinson was 11 years old, he joined Everton’s academy. However, he couldn’t even get a first team start throughout his career with the toffees. Everton sold him to Wigan Athletic in 2019. Post that, he went to Fulham where he’s become an important part of the team. In his 18 appearances for Fulham this season, Robinson has made 3 assists. He seems like a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s team. Moreover, his main strength is his pace which comes as an added advantage for the club who will sign him. If Liverpool get him, it will be very painful for their rivals Everton since they were the ones who couldn’t recognise Antonee’s talent.
