Following a disappointing defeat against Liverpool, Arsenal will travel to Birmingham to encounter Aston Villa in Premier League on Saturday.

Despite showcasing a promising display against Jurgen Klopp’s side, the Gunners had to endure a 2-0 defeat at Emirates Stadium. Diogo Jota broke the deadlock early in the second half before Roberto Firmino doubled the margin for the visitors around the hour mark.

Following this result, the north London club remained in the fourth spot with 51 points in 27 games, one point ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United with two games in hand.

On the other hand, the hosts will be coming into this game off the back of a disappointing defeat against West Ham United last weekend. Steven Gerrard’s side lost the game by 2-1. So, both sides will be looking to get back to winning ways in this encounter.

Arsenal won the reverse fixture against the Villans by 3-1 at Emirates Stadium. However, Aston Villa got the better of the Gunners when these two sides previously encountered at Villa Park.

Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal

Although Arsenal lost the game in midweek, they displayed a productive performance. So, they should come up with a solution to beat Aston Villa away from home.
