Arsenal Predicted Line-up against Crystal Palace in the season opener

About Football Express UK

Arsenal are headed to Selhurst Park for their Premier League season opener against Crystal Palace on Friday.

Mikel Arteta’s side is all ready to take on Patrick Vieira’s men in the first match of the Premier League. The Eagles have only lost one out of the last six matches towards the conclusion of the last season.

However, it is the dawn of a new season with new squads from both ends and excitement is what follows. Both the clubs will hope to start the season on a positive note and push each other to grab those three points.

Arsenal Predicted Line-up

Arsenal have been deadly in the pre-season thanks to the sensational performances on the pitch by newcomer Gabriel Jesus. As the season is long, the Gunners will hope he continues this form and maintains consistency throughout the league phase.

Arsenal could very well be the favourites in the opener against the Eagles but they do face few injury concerns. With Emile Smith Rowe and Kieran Tierney ruled out of the match, the gaffer will turn to others in the squad.

Martin Odegaard will lead the side as he has been made the leader of the new project under Arteta this season. Ben White and new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko will play a vital role in the backline on the pitch.

With the few injuries endured by players in the Arsenal camp, William Saliba could get his chance as a regular. The match will be a tricky one for the Gunners as the Eagles have the home advantage in the opener.

However, Arsenal have a very decent squad to win those three points if Arteta plays the cards right. Here is how the Gunners could potentially line-up against Crystal Palace-

Predicted Line-up: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
