Arsenal need to sign players that can win games from the bench in the next summer transfer window. Hence, the Gunners will look to spend big again in the transfer window.

The lack of important was also looking clear against Manchester City. Therefore, the next season transfer window target for the Gunners is to sign quality players.

ARSENAL LACKED THE CUTTING EDGE AGAINST MANCHESTER CITY

Arsenal lost 3-1 against Manchester City in an important Premier League clash. However, manager Mikel Arteta’s tactics were not blamed for it. This is because he got almost everything right in terms of tactics. However, the players failed to perform on the big day. There were too much of bad passes and lack of ambition and determination in the second half of the game.

Hence, Manchester City managed to win the game in the second half and score 2 goals. This was also Gunners first loss at home this season. It also saw Arsenal drop to second on the Premier League table. The Gunners were also lacking the cutting edge to finish the chances. Hence, the target for the next summer transfer window is to sign quality players that can create an impact from the bench.

THE GUNNERS NEED TO SIGN PLAYERS THAT ADD QUALITY TO THE SQUAD NEXT SEASON

One thing that was also clear is that Arsenal were in the attacking and the midfield department. Jorginho played well. However, it was clear that they missed the physicality of Thomas Partey. Hence, the Gunners need to sign a player that can slot right in with the team. He will also potentially play good amount of games as Thomas Partey has a history of injuries.

Arsenal also need to sign a forward to give competition to Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah. Eddie Nketiah has not played very well since his brace against Manchester United. Whereas, Gabriel Jesus is recovering from his injury. The Gunners could also try Florian Balogun for the next season. Balogun is currently on loan with Reims and is the highest scorer in the French league.

Hence, it is clear the Arsenal manager will have big decision to make in the next summer transfer window. A report also claims that Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice remain priority. Hence, it looks like upgrading the midfield is number one priority for the next season.
