According to reports, Arsenal tried to sign Atletico Madrid youngster Abde Raihani. The report also claims that the Gunners offered a contract to his agent. However, the young forward has rejected a move to the Gunners. He is now going to extend his contract with the La Liga club. This extension will also increase his involvement with the first team under Diego Simeone.
The report also claims that his contract involves a 62.7 million release clause. Hence, it looks like his future is secured for now. This is because no one including Arsenal is going to pay such a high fee for a player that has not yet played for the first team.
