Transfers: Manchester United considering loan move Chelsea forward

Manchester United are considering a loan move for Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic in the transfer window this summer.

The Red Devils are on the lookout for an offensive player in the front line who can add depth to the squad. United have considered placing a transfer request for the Blues forward to bolster the attack for the new season.

Pulisic is keen to join the Theatre of Dreams this summer and work under the likes of Erik ten Hag. However, the move to Old Trafford entirely depends on whether Chelsea are willing to let go off Pulisic this summer.

Manchester United discussing with Chelsea over loan move

Manchester United are keen to add a player who can get them goals during the crunch moments of the game. Moreover, Pulisic under Thomas Tuchel has not been able to get regular minutes and has slipped down the pecking order.

However, the Red Devils are not the only club in contention to sign Pulisic in the transfer window this summer. Newcastle United, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid are also keen to secure the services of the player for the new season.

Whereas, following the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, Pulisic’s value has not been at top under Tuchel. Therefore, a loan move this summer to United will prove to be a win-win scenario for all parties involved.

United have also been in touch with Ajax attacker Antony, however, the bid placed by the club have been rejected. The Red Devils are also considering a move for PSV ace Cody Gakpo in the transfer window.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the interest United holds on the players for a potential move. He said-

Manchester United plan to approach Ajax again for Antony before the end of the window. Deal considered more than difficult, as Ajax want to keep him – but Man Utd will try again.

Cody Gakpo remains easier option in the list – as Pulisic loan depends on Todd Boehly.
