Report: Ajax winger to ‘think twice’ before joining Manchester United

About Football Express UK

Ajax ace Antony is thinking twice before joining Manchester United this summer in the transfer window amid links of a move to Premier League.

The Ajax winger has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford with Erik ten Hag pushing for the move. The Dutchman has failed to deliver with the Red Devils as the club has lost both matches this season.

Moreover, the gaffer is keen and invested in making a move for Antony to bolster the attack this summer. However, the winger is not desperate to join the Mancunian side and form a reunion at the Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United to make massive offer for Antony

Manchester United have had a terrible start to the Premier League campaign this season registering zero goals as of yet. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit links have forced the gaffer to turn to the market for attackers.

Antony is one of the players on the list United are considering making a massive offer this summer. Moreover, it is understood that the Red Devils will place a bid this week for the winger to land him.

However, Antony spoke with NOS over his future after the 6-1 win over Groningen in the Eredivisie last weekend. He said-

“No idea (if Ten Hag will call him over a move) … he has to discuss this with my agents, I am focused on here. What will come will come, we will see.

At the moment I feel good here,”

“Like I said, I feel good here. I love this country.

I give everything for this club, every minute, every second. And when I don’t play I like to enjoy the beach and city.

I am loving this city and this club.”

While the statements made by the player may not boost the United fans but the possibility of signing remains high.
