Manchester United to bid for Adrien Rabiot

United have wanted a quality player in the middle of the pitch with the gaffer intending to sign Frenkie de Jong. However, the Barcelona midfielder has ruled out joining the Red Devils this summer but is open to joining elsewhere.

Now, the gaffer has turned his attention to Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot who could fill in the area with quality. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to drop the update on the player’s potential move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are desperately in need of quality signings that can bring change to the side on the pitch. Ten Hag has understood that United quickly needs to adapt to the Premier League by making these signings possible.

After the match against Brighton, ten Hag opened up over the dismal performance by the Red Devils, he said-

“I think it was a good start and then after we dropped down a level in belief and we made mistakes and the opponent punished us,”

“I can understand that [a lack of belief] after last year but it’s not necessary. They are good players; self-belief is from yourself.

“I know it could happen, but I think we should have done better, that’s clear, but also it will not come overnight. Today we had a worse period during the first half and we have to learn from that.

That’s also clear.”

United will look to improve in the coming weeks and hope to reach an agreement with Rabiot.
