Manchester City agreed on a deal for Jack Grealish

About Football Express UK

Manchester City have reportedly agreed on a deal with Aston Villa over a possible transfer for Jack Grealish as per the report in CaughtOffside

The 25-year-old is currently on international duty, helping England win the Euro 2020. However, after failing to start the first two games of the group stage, the attacking midfielder has shown his quality against Czech Republic in the last group game.

Grealish has been an integral part of Dean Smith’s Villa side. The midfielder helped his boyhood club in reaching the top-flight. In the following season, he aided the Villans to survive the relegation. Thus, in the last season, they finished in mid-table in Premier League

Aston Villa bought Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City as a replacement for their talisman. And it is looking very much likely that Grealish will leave the club. And go to Manchester City to fulfil his desire of playing in the Champions League.

Can Manchester City sign Jack Grealish this summer?

According to the report in CaughtOffside, a fee worth £88 million has already been agreed between Manchester City and Aston Villa for Jack Grealish. Meanwhile, the main terms of the agreement have been agreed upon since the last season.

Moreover, the report further suggest that Grealish will sign a five-year contract with Manchester City. Thus, the transfer will be revealed after Euro 2020. The report also claims that the Citizens are open to selling Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling. However, they are first waiting for the Grealish deal to be completed.

Manchester City are looking to spend big this summer, following the financial fair play rules have been eased for this summer. Pep Guardiola’s side are in for a double coup of Harry Kane and Jack Grealish. The England captain deal is seemingly looking difficult after Daniel Levy is desperate to keep the forward.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester City can sign Grealish and Kane this summer or not. After the report is claiming that Grealish to City is a done deal, we all have to keep an eye on the speculation if that’s the case or not.
