ARSENAL ARE CLOSE TO SELLING AUSTON TRUSTY
According to reports, Sheffield United have agreed a fee with Arsenal to sell defender Auston Trusty. The defender has also agreed personal terms. Whereas, both the clubs have also agreed a fee in the region of 5 million for the defender. Therefore, the defender will now travel to complete the medical in the next few days after all the sides come to a full agreement.
Arsenal do not see the United states defender as the part of their long-term plans. Therefore, the Gunners are ready to sell him to balance their financial books. Whereas, the newcomers this season, Sheffield United will feel happy with the acquisition this summer. This positive news also comes after Sheffield star Illiman Ndiaye has left the club for Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
THE GUNNERS ARE HOPING SELL MORE OF THEIR FRINGE PLAYERS
According to reports, Arsenal are hoping sell more of their fringe players this summer to balance their wage bill. They also want to sell the likes of Cedric, Nicolas Pepe and Albert Sambi Lokonga. Whereas, the Gunners are also open to selling Matt Turner and Rob Holding. The Gunners will hope that the sales of this player can also fund new goalkeeper signing.
Arsenal want to sign David Raya from Brentford as their back-up goalkeeper. However, Brentford are demanding a fee of 40 million for the goalkeeper. Hence, Gunners are having problems in negotiating a lower fee for the Spanish goalkeeper. Therefore, the Gunners will need to make sales to go even near the valuation of Brentford for David Raya.
