Ray Parlour suggests Arsenal to go after Alexander Isak

Arsenal are having yet another great season under Mikel Arteta. The fans are happy with the revolution brought by Arteta. The club is backing Arteta fully at this time and has promised a busy transfer window. Former club legend, Ray Parlour had his say in the Arsenal’s hunt for new striker. Parlour said that Arsenal should go after Newcastle united’s Alexander Isak this summer.

Arsenal are going to sign a defender mostly left back. The second priority us defensive midfielder to partner Declan Rice and replace Thomas Partey. Along with these two positions, the club is looking forward to sign a striker due to inconsistency from their strikers this season. Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus only scored combined 9 goals in Premier League. According to TEAMtalk, Nketiah has been already told that he will be sold this summer.

The Gunners looking for striker have been linked with various names over the past weeks. Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney were initially linked with a move to Emirates stadium. However the club has been heavily linked with Viktor Gyokeres and reports are that Arsenal are planning a move for him.

Former Arsenal and England midfielder however has suggested the Gunners should go after Isak. Parlour thinks Isak will be a great addition to the team and will suit Arsenal’s style of play. Parlour also believes that Isak will cost Arsenal almost as same as Rice that is £100 million. Arsenal legend backing Isak and believing in his future suggested Gunners to go all out for the Swedish striker.

What can Isak bring to Arsenal

Ever since arriving at England, Isak is enjoying his good spell at Newcastle United. This season was latest addition to his great seasons managing to appear 24 times on the scoresheet. Isak also is competing for the golden boot and is currently on 3rd position. The Swedish international has scored 20 goals in Premier League this season. Arsenal having high quality wingers and midfielders can lift Isak to new heights and achieve huge success collectively as a team. Having being linked heavily to Gyokeres it would be interesting to see what path Arsenal would like to take to find their next potential striker.
