SOUTHAMTON HAVE REMAINED FIRM ON THEIR VALUATION THIS SUMMER

Liverpool are aware that Southampton remain firm on their valuations to sell players. Newcastle United have also tried to sign Tino Livramento for 30 million. However, Southampton continue to ask for a fee of 50 million from the Magpies. Hence, it looks like Southampton finances have not drastically gone down with the relegation from the Premier League.

Hence, Liverpool will have to play hardball with Southampton to bring the price down. This is also because they are not willing to match the 50 million demand from Southampton. It is also because Romeo Lavia has the experience of playing in the Premier League only for one season. Hence, the Reds are unwilling to pay a such a huge transfer fee.

Liverpool are close to selling Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to the Saudi League. The deals are also likely to include in a few days. However, the Fabinho deal has slowed down. Although, negotiations remain positive. Therefore, Jurgen Klopp will need at least one more new midfielder this summer.
