Liverpool are reportedly showing interest in signing Cheick Doucoure. However, Crystal Palace are likely going to demand over 50 million for the midfielder.

The Reds are also monitoring the situation of Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia. However, they are finding it difficult to agree a fee for the Belgian midfielder.

According to reports, Liverpool are showing interest in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure. The player is also open to the move to the Premier League giants. However, the Eagles are not open to selling for cheap this summer transfer window. They want a fee of at least over 50 million for their star midfielder this summer.

A number of reports also suggest that Crystal Palace are demanding 70 million. Liverpool have not yet made a bid for the midfielder. They have also not agreed personal terms with his agent. Hence, the negotiations are currently in early stages. However, the midfielder remains on the list of alternatives for the Romeo Lavia deal.

According to reports, Liverpool also remain in serious negotiation for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia. However, Southampton continue to demand a fee of at least 50 million. Arsenal and Chelsea also continue to monitor his situation. The agent of the midfielder is also in active negotiations with all the interested sides for this summer transfer window.

Romeo Lavia is also not forcing a move to Liverpool or any other club. However, the midfielder is aware of the negotiations taking place. Jurgen Klopp is aware that Fabinho and Jordan Henderson are near to move to the Saudi League. Hence, he is aware that he will need to sign at least one midfielder for squad depth and squad competition.

Liverpool have already made huge changes this summer transfer window in the midfield. They have signed the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister this summer. Whereas, the likes of James Milner, Naby Kieta and Alex Oxlade Chamberlin have left the club on free transfers.
