Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag is under the spotlight as his side loose to their arch rivals Manchester City 3-0 last Sunday at Old Trafford. The Reds are not having a good season this time. They have won just 5 of their last 10 games in the league. They are currently sitting at 8th position and it seems that they’re going to have a difficult time getting into the top 4. Erik Ten Hag criticized by the stakeholders, pundits and others is pretty much understandable.
The Reds are not having a good time in the Champions League as well. With 2 losses and a win in 3 games, they are sitting at 3rd position in their group. As they are performing this season, it seems like they’re going to be knocked out in the group stage itself.
Ten Hag’s team selection is highly criticized for their game against City. And Erling Haaland scoring twice with Phil Foden completing the scoring has even put his selection subject to even more criticism.
This season’s signing, Sofyan Amrabat is also facing the criticisms as he was subbed off at half time on Sunday. People are questioning that what’s the use of signings if they’re being subbed off after half of the game.

Surely United got some chances in the match. But they all were coming from City’s mistakes.
As per the mirror, the INEOS owner has been pushing to acquire the club from past one year. But after these kind of performances, it is highly probable that the billionaire is going to settle with a 25% stake in the club. Sir James has expressed his concerns over clubs recent signings many a times in last few months. Ten Hag needs to show results now or later to bring back the team to thier winning ways.
