Gavi to Chelsea rumours.

Manchester United

There is not so much attention required to the Gavi to Chelsea rumours related news. That is according to one of the most famous sports football journalist, Fabrizio Romano.

As the rumours have it, the 19 year old Spanish international is linked with a move to the Stamford bridge. But Romano has clearly stated that Barcelona are not at all interested in this matter and they are not even making any transfer plans decisions right now. They’re only focused towards their season.

“Sorry to disappoint you Chelsea fans, but I’m not seeing any possibility of this transfer”. – Fabrizio Romano

As per Sport, Chelsea are one club who are monitoring Gavi’s performance and are interested in him.

The blues know that he would cost more than € 100 million.

Gavi is a key player for the Spanish giants. Having played in all 10 of Barcelona’s la liga games this season, this news has no value as of now.

Gavi to Chelsea: possibility of occurrence.

As we all know, Barcelona was struggling financially from past few seasons and they are yet to fully recover from that problem. But under no circumstances will the club sell Gavi to the blues or any other club.

Moreover, the young Spain international is a very important player for Xavi’s team. At this young age, he’s showing what can be done with talent and hardwork.

Let us assume for a moment that Barcelona decide to sell some players of their squad next summer, we should understand that other players would be on the departure list instead of players like Gavi who are consistently performing for the club.

What should Chelsea do if this transfer doesn’t happen?

No doubt that Gavi is a player with immense talent. But Chelsea should not bother if they can’t sign him as midfield is one of the strongest area of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

Just after arriving, the Argentine coach witnessed Moises Caicedo join the club. He also got world champion Enzo Fernandez in his team.

However, Chelsea should focus on strengthening their forward line instead. The do have Nicolas Jackson and Armando Borja, but they are yet to prove that they can become prolific number 9s. Chelsea should focus on signing a new striker over everything else.
