“It was a very strong performance and an outstanding result. We knew we had to be patient and at the same time be responsible for the rhythm and intensity. It was a great performance from everybody so full credit to the players – what an effort, what an attitude.”

On the other hand, Juventus boss Allegri praised the Blues performance. Stating that it will be a learning experience for his team. The Bianconeri boss said on the club’s website:

An evening like this must serve as a lesson because we can also learn something from defeats. Now we will have to put this result behind us and focus on the next match against Atalanta, which will be very important for us.”

Chelsea will be hosting Manchester United in their next game on Sunday in the Premier League. Juventus will welcome Atalanta in their next game on Saturday in Serie A.
