Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly linked with a move for Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski. As per the report in Italian outlet Calciomercato

The 21-year-old joined Bianconeri last summer from Atalanta for around €35 million. However, the deal hasn’t panned out quite well for the Sweden international. As he hasn’t been able to showcase his talent at the Allianz Stadium. Scoring four goals and assisted as many times in 46 Serie A appearances.

As per the report, Tottenham is eyeing a move for Dejan Kulusevski on an initial loan move with an option to buy. As the Lillywhites are not keen on paying a hefty £30 million for the youngster. Who has failed to showcase his talent on a big stage.

The Old Lady of Turin is also reportedly open to allowing the youngster to leave in January. Who has failed to impress the new manager Massimiliano Allegri. However, Spurs might face competition from other clubs for the highly-rated winger, but the report stated that England is looking likely the next destination for the 21-year-old.

Should Tottenham Hotspur sign Dejan Kulusevski?

Signing Dejan Kulusevski could be a great acquisition for Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window. Spurs might line up 3-4-3 formation under the new manager Antonio Conte and strengthening to the wide areas will be the right decision for the Spurs hierarchy.

The Lillywhites currently have Son, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura for the wing position. So, strengthening in-depth with the addition of the Sweden international will be a shrewd decision.

Antonio Conte has delivered success wherever he has managed so far in his career. And delivering his needs in the transfer market to achieve success on the pitch will be the main task for the Tottenham board.

Meanwhile, after the appointment of Conte. Tottenham Hotspur’s main objective for this season will be to finish in the Champions League spot. And winning the Europa Conference League. To mount a top-four finish this term. The Lillywhites will have to overcome a six points deficit.

So, the Italian manager’s side will have to string some positive results as quickly as possible to close the gap for the Champions League qualification. As the mighty Liverpool are currently sitting at the fourth-placed with 22 points in 11 games.
