Arsenal planning to move in for highly rated Pedro Neto

Arsenal Team

Arsenal are back in for Pedro Neto. They attempt to finally bring the Wolves winger to Emirates this summer. It’s stated that Arteta wanted to sign Pedro Neto previous summer as he attempted to add another winger. Neto is a left footed winger and fits the profile of player Arteta is after.

Pedro Neto could transform Arsenal to another level and fits their profile as well

Arsenal might have better luck this time as it’s suggested that Wolves manager would be happy to strike a deal. Julen Lopetegui needs money to spend this summer and selling Neto would bring some extra cash into the Molineux. Neto is still under contract with Wolverhampton until 2027. But now Arsenal will have real hope of finally landing the Portuguese talent.

Hailed as ‘exceptional’ and ‘extraordinary’ by Jamie Redknapp back in 2020, Neto looked like he would become a star for Wolves. Sadly he had a major knee injury in 2021. It has set Neto back and he hasn’t quite managed to recapture his wonderful form. The idea for Neto will be to serve as competition for Bukayo Saka down Arsenal’s right flank. Arsenal would be believing in Neto to recapture his best form. If he do make a move and regains his form, the Gunners would become even more dangerous.

The Gunners need more squad depth with Champions League next season and Neto could be their man. The idea would be for him to serve as competition for starboy Bukayo Saka down Arsenal’s right flank. Both are left footed wingers who play on the right flank.

Arsenal are hoping to get the deal done early this window. They want majority of their signings done before preseason this new campaign. The Gunners will be a strong force in the future with a solid base of young players.
